Our next meeting of the year is the Whitsunday Titles and is to be held on Saturday 18/09/10 and Sunday 19/09/10. All club members are encouraged to compete to earn double points for the championship. All out of town karters are welcome with camping allowed at the track.This our biggest event of the Year with all competitors going into the draw for a Yamaha S motor.
The AGM of Makay and District Kart Club will be held on 7pm Tuesday 12th October at Harrup Park Country Club. All positions are to be declared vacant with most of the executive indicating they are not standing again. Please give some thought to taking on a position.
2011 Nationals Anyone???
Simon Thomas (aka Our Treasurer/Leopard Heavy) is looking at organising a truck capable of carrying 20 karts to Western Australia next year for the Australian Titles. He is seeking any interested parties to contact him so he can gauge if it is going to be feasible or not. Karts are welcome from Cairns, Townsville, Rockhampton, Gladstone and any other club who whish to drop their karts to Mackay.
