            Burridge Memorial Weekend

    This weekend ( May 12,13) is the two day Burridge Memorial Weekend. Come along and compete for the great fields and excellent trophies on offer. Most of all come along to help us share the memory of family taken from us far too early.

Supp-regs are now online at AKAQ for the event at http://www.akaqld.asn.au/events.asp.

Nominations close at 11am Saturday, practice starts at 10.30am. Racing starts at 1pm Saturday & 9am Sunday. The track will be open for practice on Friday & if numbers permit the lights will be on for Friday night practice.    

So come along and share that fine karting tradition with Rob & Don on Sunday morning of the Bacon & Egg roll for brekkie. See you there!!

    Club championships points can now be viewed by clicking on the results tab and then on the appropriate class.       

Memberships are Due

Please note that all memberships are due by the 28th of February. Single $100, Family $150

 EFT to the club bank account 064-707 10614038 & email the slip to club@mackaykartclub.asn.au. 

Also due are pit bays which were due to be paid at the February meeting. Please pay your $80 to Stacey (treasurer) or EFT to the club bank account 064-707 10614038 & email the slip to club@mackaykartclub.asn.au.

  

 

New to the Club ?

If you are new to the Mackay Club and in particular new to kart racing then we strongly recommend that you attend a test & Tune day prior to your first race day. There will be people on hand who will be happy to walk you through a typical race day and all the necessary paper work and procedures.

Detailed instructions for using the pre-nomination and pre-payment system may be found here. If you have problems with using the system then please contact the club via the club@mackaykartclub.asn.au  email address and we will be happy to assist you with learning the process. Once familiar with the procedure you will find it to be quite fast and painless to use.

Friday April 13th Test & Tune

On Friday evening April 13th a social evening will be held at the Mackay track. The intent of the “Test and Tune” day is to provide a social outing for club members to get together and turn some practice laps together while having a snag or two after at a BBQ. It is a perfect opportunity for new and old members to get together and help each other in improving our driving.
